Most clients begin with a free consultation where we talk about your child's needs and how your family is hoping to benefit from speech therapy. If it seems like your family is a good fit for my practice, I will recommend following up with a full speech and language evaluation. The results of this evaluation guide my plan for therapy. I work with families to prioritize treatment goals and include families in each step of the process.
My practice is mobile; I travel to your home, daycare, or other convenient location in Ann Arbor to provide speech and language evaluation and treatment services. At this time I am private-pay only but can provide you with a superbill for you to submit your insurance for possible reimbursement. Please get in touch to inquire about my fee structure or request a consultation.
My areas of specialty include strengthening speech and language skills, supporting toddlers who are behind in talking, building social language skills, and coaching parents on practical ways to support their child’s communication every day.
In addition to providing private speech and langauge evaluation and treatment, I also teach parent-child classes for First Steps, the early childhood division of Ann Arbor Rec &Ed. These classes are open to all. We welcome typically developing children as well as children with suspected or known speech and language delays. I provide parents and caregivers with an overview of typical language development and some "tips and tricks" to encourage optimal language growth and development. I teach "Jump into Speech" and "Jump into Speech for Babies". Current First Steps class offerings can be found at the following link:
